Coleshill Safer Neighbourhood Team on patrol.

Today PC 2300 Thompson & PC 1372 Breeze from Coleshill safer neighbourhood team have been out on the south patch of north Warwickshire conducting high visibility patrols to various hotspots which have been brought to our attention by local residents. Today locations patrolled were as follows:

 

  • Shustoke – Patrols were conducted around Reservoir Drive and Bixhill Lane due to reports of suspicious activity and anti-social behaviour occurring in the location.
  • Gun Hill – Patrols were conducted on Gun Hill due to recent anti-social behaviour incidents.
  • Ansley – High visibility patrols were conducted in various locations in the area due to reports of anti-social behaviour.
  • Corley Services – Patrols were conducted on foot in the services where local businesses were linked in with by officers due to recent report of thefts happening in the services. Officers also conducted high visibility patrols of HGV parks with our ongoing efforts to reduce HGV crime in the area as part of our problem-solving plan for the area.
  • Coleshill – Patrols have been carried out on the high street in the town due to ASB reports in the location. We are fully aware of the main issues occurring on the high street which we are currently escalating formally alongside conducting our patrols.  Patrols were also conducted on Station Road and Kendal Avenue due to recent concerns raised by residents.
  • Maxstoke – Officers paid attention to Castle Lane due to reports of excess speed, going forward we will be adding this location to our list to conduct speed watch operations.
